Situation:

Prehab of Arizona is a non-profit behavioral health services organization with 26 buildings in Phoenix metropolitan area. They were in need of hiring an energy consultant to evaluate their maintenance and operational practices for the Faith House, a multifamily housing building with natural gas engine driven chiller and mostly two pipe fan coil heating and cooling system.

Solution:

After being selected to perform the work, Lincus arranged for a temporary chiller to be installed during the evaluation, and within a month, was able to determine the best solution to replace the existing failed chiller and its controls with a high efficiency air-cooled system. The new equipment and central plant improvements resulted in 43% internal rate of return (IRR) on this $90,000 project for the customer.
