LINCUS ADDS STAFF FOR GROWTH
LINCUS RECOGNIZED BY LEADING ELECTRIC UTILITY

One of the Western States’ most reliable energy efficiency consulting firms, Lincus, Inc., was selected by Southern California Edison out of more than a hundred contractors to be recognized as an “Exemplary Energy Efficiency Contractor” for their outstanding efforts in providing consultancy services for Edison’s 2006-2008 competitive energy efficiency program solicitation process, program management, and general engineering services.

One of the current programs in the forefront that Lincus is managing for SCE focuses on reducing energy costs in grocery stores through the implementation of multiple energy efficiency measures.
Another important initiative includes applying new ways to reduce campus-housing energy costs in common dormitory areas, dining facilities, and individual student rooms through the use of hardware provided through energy efficiency retrofits, retro-commissioning, and building tune-up services.
Lincus is also managing Edison’s commercial real estate program which targets commercial real estate firms and property owners to introduce and implement a series of emerging energy efficient technologies that include compressor replacements (Turbocore®), lighting system upgrades, HVAC real-time cycle management, carbon dioxide sensors for demand ventilation control, and carbon monoxide garage fan sensor systems.

Arun Srinath has joined the Lincus office in Huntington Beach. Mr. Srinath brings with him 8 years of mechanical design, new construction and existing facility energy analysis and project management experience while working for companies such as URS, CTG Energetics, and E/C Engineering. Mr. Srinath’s experience and ability in property condition assessments, energy auditing, new construction energy efficiency modeling and analysis, and HVAC systems design experience will be an asset to Lincus’ current and future efforts in this area. Mr. Srinath holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Sciences from the Sonoma State University.
Lionel Metchop has also joined the Lincus office in Tempe, bringing with him a concentrated background of working with industrial and manufacturing facility audits to identify opportunities for energy conservation and waste minimization. Mr. Metchop has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Arizona State University. As a part of the Arizona State University’s Industrial Assessment Center, Mr. Metchop, Has completed energy audits for at least 30 industrial and manufacturing clients. Mr. Metchop’s past experience with Salzman & Levy, Intellectual Property Attorneys, in analyzing initial patent applications will also be an asset to Lincus’ efforts in the Demand Side Management and Demand Response programs and technology applications in the design and implementation stages.
